Our Message

Like you, when the Bell scandal hit we were outraged and saddened. How could that kind of corruption take place in our great city? We were, however, not surprised. For years, all four of us had participated in civic action to question the policies of Robert Rizzo and the city council—we ran for office, wrote letters to elected officials, talked to news reporters and formed a community group dedicated to asking for the resignation of abusive city administrators, recalling city council members, and educating our family, friends and neighbors as to why the scandal happened and how to stop further abuse.

Together, we have lived in Bell for more than 100-years. Our families are from Mexico, Tennessee and Lebanon. But we’re Bell residents first and if elected promise to be accountable only to you The People of Bell. We’ll work to restore ethical government, lower tax rates, protect public safety, grow local businesses, and restore the reputation of our great city.

We have great pride in Bell and want it to once again be an example of what honest elected officials can do when their interests are the interests of the people they serve.
